Sacred Geometry is a wild magic, a place where math geeks and witches and witchy math geeks throw themselves at each other in wild, sexy abandon!
This card, the Torus – is one of the 64 cards in the Sacred Geometry Deck by Francene Hart. I decided to pull a card from this deck to mix it up today!
I shuffled the cards and asked for a sign. What is it that I need today? What is my lesson, what is my gift?
And I pulled the Torus. A wonderful card pertaining to “Magnetic Energy”. Great, but I already wrote about the Torus in my last post pertaining to The Wild Unknown version of the World Card. Been there, done that. So I put it back, and shuffled the deck, and pulled another card. Right, yup, I pulled the Torus again. OK OK fine!
Yes, I am in love with the Torus. So, of course, I should get to know it better.
The word Torus comes from the Latin word for cushion. It is a 3 dimensional object that spins/rotates from a spherical shape into the shape of a bagel, or inner tube. It is considered to be the primary shape that surrounds all life forms, including planets, stars and galaxies.
Every atom emits a torus field. The human heart is an example of a powerful torus field. Our hearts are the source of the body’s strongest electromagnetic field. A torus field is holographic, which means that information about it can be read from any point in the torus. Some scientists believe that there is a strong possibility that one universal torus surrounds our galaxy, and it interacts with every torus of everything – thus leading us to the understanding that all the information about anything at any given moment is accessible to us through the torus field.
Everything is within everything. We can know everything through our hearts. If our hearts are open and receptive, we can be in harmony with our outer worlds. If we shut down our hearts, we live in survival mode- usually driven by the feeling of fear and the desire for power and control. If we are not acting from the wisdom of our hearts, we are driven by the ego based intellect, which is not as powerful as the heart. For true power, we must move into our hearts for guidance, understanding and real information.
If we can tap into the field of our heart energy, we can begin to get clearer messages and deeper understanding of how our electromagnetic energy wants to flow and resonate.
The heart’s magnetic field:
Research has also revealed that the heart communicates information to
the brain and throughout the body via electromagnetic field interactions. The
heart generates the body’s most powerful and most extensive rhythmic
electromagnetic field. The heart’s magnetic component is about 500 times
stronger than the brain’s magnetic field and can be detected several feet away
from the body. It was proposed that, this heart field acts as a carrier wave for
information that provides a global synchronizing signal for the entire body

The torus is definitely pretty cool 😀 Have you ever heard of the ‘flat torus’?
